Brian started AL employment in April 2004 and was recently recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Fast Track 25”, as one of the fastest growing companies in Birmingham. Prior to AL employment Brian worked for 2 Executive placement organizations serving roles from Account Manager to Branch Manager. He has over 8 years experience in Accounting, Banking and Office/Administrative placement in the Southeast.
Brian is a graduate from the University of Montevallo, where he has been recognized as the Nathalie Moulton Gibbons Young Achiever’s Award Recipient. In 2007, Brian received the “Top 40 under 40” award from the Birmingham Business Journal. Brian resides in Birmingham with his wife Marie and his 3 beautiful girls. |

David has followed the Technology industry all through the United States from the Silicon Valley to the Northeast Boston area, and hanging his hat in the Heart of Dixie . He has over 20 years experience in the technology field with large corporations such as Dell Computer Corporation and Compucom Integration Services.
David has provided staffing services and consultants in both the Corporate and Public sectors since 1989. David lives in Birmingham with his wife Melissa and 2 children. |

Sherry Lyons
Chief Operating Officer
Sherry Lyons joined AL employment in May 2006. Sherry’s career includes more than 18 years in human resources, management, staffing, training and sales.
Sherry has experience working with small niche firms and top Fortune 500 companies. Companies rely on her expertise for executive placement, coaching and development of individuals and teams, employment cycle and career transition counseling and contract negotiations. Sherry is involved in many civic and non profit activities in Birmingham. She lives in Birmingham with a wonderful son and energetic puppy! |

Jason started with AL employment in June of 2004. Jason has over nine years experience in recruiting and placing individuals in the administrative and medical field for companies of various size and scope.
Jason is a graduate of Auburn University and resides in Birmingham with his wife and three children. |

Phyllis Akins
Director of Operations
Phyllis has been employed with AL Employment since May 2004 as a recruiter and currently Director of Operations. Prior to joining AL Employment, Phyllis worked for an Executive Placement organization as an executive recruiter.
Phyllis has over 15 years experience in the following areas: Operations Management, Customer Services Management, Quality Control Management and Human Resource Management. Phyllis is a graduate of Mundelein College and currently resides in the Birmingham with her daughter. |
